Tiggy

Farm-raised and full of love—Tiggy is a playful, food-loving cuddle bug looking for a home where she can be the center of attention!

Rehoming Requirements for Tiggy

Tiggy (Mrs. Tiggywinkle) is a 30-month-old female English Bull Terrier who has lived a peaceful farm life but now needs a fresh start as an only dog. She’s affectionate, food-motivated, and loves her walks, games of chase, and tug-of-war. Unfortunately, after being spayed, she developed aggression toward another female dog in the home, and despite a year of careful management, integration has been unsuccessful. Her owners want the best for her and are looking for a loving home where she can thrive as the only pet.

Ideal Home for Tiggy:

Dog-experienced owners who understand the breed and can give her a structured, loving home

✅ A child-free home or one with older children who understand boundaries

Only-dog household – Tiggy needs to be the center of attention and does not get along with certain dogs

A calm, structured environment – She has lived a rural life and has not been in an urban setting

Secure outdoor space – She enjoys exploring and would love a garden

Ongoing exposure to new experiences – She has lived a relatively sheltered life and will need careful introductions to new places

Tiggy’s Best Traits:

🐾 Loyal and affectionate – Loves being with her people, snuggling on the sofa, and spending time with her family

🐾 Great with handling – Fine with ear checks, baths, and has never had issues at the vet

🐾 Intelligent and food-motivated – Loves treats, making her eager to learn and train

🐾 Playful and independent – Enjoys tug-of-war, playing chase, and even entertaining herself by digging

Considerations for Tiggy:

⚠️ No small pets – She has not been tested with cats or small animals, but she does have a prey drive for foxes and deer

⚠️ Needs time to adjust to new environments – She has lived a farm life with minimal exposure to busy urban settings

⚠️ Should not live with other dogs – She previously lived peacefully with dogs but became aggressive toward one after being spayed

⚠️ Needs structured introductions to new situations – She has traveled to London before but has not been walked in busy areas

Tiggy is a loving, playful, and food-driven companion who will make an amazing pet in the right home. If you can offer her the stability, love, and attention she deserves, please get in touch!
