Marvel

A Big Heart, Ready for a Fresh Start

Marvel is a big-hearted Bullie who’s ready to find a home where he can get the love and attention he deserves. Currently weighing in at 32kg, he’s a big lad with a lot of love to give—especially if it involves cuddles. Marvel has been with his family since he was just 3 months old, but due to changing circumstances, he’s often left alone for long periods, which isn’t fair for him anymore.

Personality & Behaviour:

Marvel is a friendly, excitable dog who just wants to be loved. He’s fantastic with adults and children alike—though he doesn’t quite understand personal space and loves to give slobbery kisses, which might not suit all kids. He’s used to living with a small child and has always been gentle and playful. However, Marvel doesn’t get along well with other dogs; he had a previous incident with another Bullie, and as a result, he is now quite reactive to other dogs. For this reason, Marvel needs to be the only pet in the household and should not be walked off-lead.

Walks & Routine:

Marvel is reactive when he sees other dogs on walks, so his current family takes care to change routes when necessary. He is well-behaved on the lead otherwise. In the house, he’s more of a laid-back lad who enjoys lounging around. His favourite treats are pig ears, and he’s a big fan of his toys—though he does have a habit of being a bit destructive with them.

Health & Care:

Marvel is in good health with no known medical issues. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He sees the vet regularly and is fine with vet visits, although he gets overstimulated when there are other animals around. Marvel has a lady who comes every three months to clean his teeth, ears, and trim his nails—he’s well-behaved for this routine. While he’s generally good with being handled, he can be a bit playful and squirmy during grooming, so it’s best done in short sessions.

Likes & Dislikes:

Marvel loves pig ears, walks, and most of all, cuddles. He dislikes other dogs, the hoover (he tries to bite it!), and isn’t a fan of being brushed—it often turns into a playful chase.

Ideal Home:

Marvel is looking for an experienced owner who understands Bull Terriers and can provide a calm, consistent environment. He would do best in a home where he’s the only dog, with no small animals around, and ideally with older children who are comfortable with his playful energy. Marvel needs someone who can offer him the training and socialisation he missed earlier in life and provide the attention he craves.

Rehoming Requirements:

• No other dogs or small animals

• Experienced owner preferred

• A home with older children or child-free

• Ongoing training and socialisation needed
