Ernie is a bright and trainable dog who loves routine and structure. He walks well on the lead, though he can become frustrated and bark at other dogs when held back. He’s not destructiveand is happiest when lounging in the sun or cuddling up on his own sofa. Ernie responds well to food-based training and is eager to please those he trusts.
Though he loves people, Ernie has shown some resourcing guarding behaviour around his food bowl and needs a confident, experienced owner to guide him through this.
